Hiring Methodology

RETAINED SEARCH OUTLINE

  1. Assess position responsibilities, requirements, corporate culture, management style and financial/growth opportunities associated with the position and the company.
  1. Determine opportunities afforded by the position and company (i.e., compensation package, future promotion opportunities, company projected growth)
  1. Develop internal white paper incorporating information gathered from above steps to include experience required and opportunities afforded.
  1. Forward white paper to client for review, amendment and approval.
  1. Develop initial list of 15 to 30 target companies.
  1. Forward target list to client for review, amendment and approval.  Client can add appropriate companies and remove inappropriate companies from the target list (i.e. strategic alliances).
  1. Once approval is received from client, we will put together an Oaks QRT (Quick Response Team), consisting of a Team Leader, a Senior Recruiter and at least one Researcher. QRT will begin to source and directly contact all appropriate individuals at the target list companies. Additionally, the current Liberty database will be evaluated for qualified candidates.
  1. As potential candidates are identified, we will screen, interview and forward those with the appropriate qualifications and expectations to the client.
  1. Initial candidate/client interviews will be scheduled. 
  1. Candidate feedback will be provided to client from first interview.
  1. Written summary of reference checks on selected candidates will be provided to client. 
  1. Final interviews with selected clients will be scheduled.
  1. Employment offer to final candidate will be facilitated and negotiated.
  1. Assist final candidate in resigning from current employment and prepare candidate to deal with possibility of counteroffer.
  1. Once candidate has started in the new position with your company, Oaks will follow up with both the candidate and client for the first 90 days in order to be proactive instead of reactive with any concerns or problems.
